URGENT! Save Black Trans Activist with MS from Eviction! Help Boost
Hey Fam, Sis, Bruh, Unc, Auntie, Cuzzo, & Gangstas Young and Old
It’s ya boi, Dean. A regular degular schmegular Black, Trans boi from the the A! As some of you may know I have been long time Activist and organizer here in Atlanta, fighting for my communities.
In June, I was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). I eventually had to stop organizing and leave my job to focus on my health. For the last six months, I’ve been overwhelmed by numerous doctor visits and the weight of high-priced medical bills. I do not have medical insurance and was denied Medicaid. And now my housing is in jeopardy.
I am in anotherdesperate situation. I have been notified by my landlord, that if I am unable to my rent by January 21st, that I will be evicted. Many of you may not understand how I can be in this position, but being fo Trans is expensive. Having a incurable auto-immune disease is expensive. Being Black is expensive.I have 10 days to raise $950.00.
HELP ME KEEP MY HOME!
If I can just 100 people to donate just $10. I will reach my goal. Whether it’s $10, $5, or .99, your donation will help prevent another Black Trans person from kicked out of their home and forced onto the streets.

Oliver wants me to amp up the donation requests so I got him to let me take a nice photo. He’s 11, a potterhead (Slytherin) loves The Hunger Games, Minecraft, Terraria, She-ra, and wicca.
He’s stressing about the cost of appointments because he’s really keen for puberty blockers so I’m hoping to raise $1000 by the end of February. That would get us two psychiatrist appointments or a psychiatrist and a couple of clinical psychologist appointments (depending on how the psych decides to go about assessing him for gender dysphoria) including the Medicare rebate with a little left over for boys clothes.
His counselor wants us to get this process going ASAP because having lost my dad (who was also like a father to Oliver) we’re afraid his dysphoria could trigger something awful, not to mention the extra financial pressure we’re under.
We’re at $130 now which is amazing, thank you so much to everyone who has reblogged and especially everyone who has donated. If we could reach our goal and get the ball rolling it would be a huge weight off all our shoulders, especially his

Any left over money after transition expenses will be used for the orthodontic treatment he needs (my mother is trying to cover this but both my kids need it so we all need to pull together to pay for it)
Still sitting at the same amount since the subscription came out, any help is appreciated.
If you can donate to the Unist’ot’en Camp Legal Fund, it would be much appreciated. If you can’t donate, please share and boost this post on all your social media platforms.
